Christian Thought Leaders Book Group

This group studies current writers and leaders of Christian/Biblical thought and encourages discussion.  We continue our study to begin to understand and reach the current culture. We will be reading and discussing the book, The Emerging Church by Dan Kimball. Churches are noticing less and less the emerging generations in their midst. The Emerging Church explores the cultural changes impacting churches and offers practical advice on how to creatively reach emerging generations. Some of the "spiritual" things that were removed from churches are the very things that post-Christian generations are connecting with and find attractive in a church.  No topic is off-limits. Open to all adults.

School of Prayer

Prayer & intercession, occasional teaching and discussion

Our prayer is that God would have preeminence in all that we do, that God's glory would fill His house, His healing presence would draw us to Him, the direction and leading of the Holy Spirit would break down walls and barriers, the anointed word would be preached with boldness and freedom, worship would be honoring and pleasing to our Lord, and salvation, healing and deliverance would result - and people would know their God.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to join us.  Jesus has called us intercessors and priests of His New Covenant.  We have a right and a duty to enforce His kingdom here on earth.

Adult Education House Study

Gospel of John
Even though John's Gospel is not one of the synoptic Gospels, his view of Jesus is fresh and different. Jesus is presented as Son of God, Light of the World and Creator. Matthew, Mark and Luke covered the nuts and bolts of what Jesus said and did in His life. John has captured the essence of who Jesus is and his focus is quite different. Come and let's explore together!
