Current Team of Pastors and Staff
Pastor William Wampler
- Senior Pastor
Pastor William and Gayle Wampler began here
at Summit Church on June 29, 2008. Since 2002, Pastor Wampler has been the
Outreach & Involvement Pastor at Bellevue Christian Center, Bellevue,
Nebraska. His ministry has included the oversight of visitors and new
converts follow-up, hospital visitation, funeral coordination, special
events, Alpha, evangelistic/outreach planning, counseling, preaching and
teaching support.
Prior to Bellevue Christian Center, he has 11
years of ministry experience as Senior Pastor, Youth/Associate Pastor and
Junior High Pastor in California.
Pastor Wampler has a real passion for
reaching people. It has always been in my heart to partner with God, and His
people, in transforming a city. I believe this is accomplished by lovingly
staying relevant to our culture, without sacrificing the power of God,
inherent in the gospel, and in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
His wife Gayle is an experienced worship
leader and songwriter who also plays the piano and keyboard. She has served
as a personal administrative assistant to the Nebraska Assistant
Superintendent. Raised in a Pastor’s home, Gayle fully understands the
expectations and demands of a Senior Pastor's ministry.
Pastor Wampler and Gayle have two children;
Caleb who will be starting his third year at North Central University; and
Rochelle who will be starting her first year at Trinity Bible College.
We believe there's an exciting future
for our church in the heart of Summit and Grand Avenue; one of
Minnesota's best-known commercial and residential communities. |
