Selection, 2006 screening and training of the staff and administrative team will resume after January 1st. The budget for the entire effort in 2005 was $25,000. This amount includes all camp fees, transportation, supplies, training, and other expenses. We welcome donations of supplies or finances from businesses, foundations, and individuals.   

Businesses
In past years local businesses have given over $400 worth of gift cards and over $5000 in cash. We are asking local businesses if they would continue to partner with us in making this camp a reality for the children of Ramsey County.  As we begin planning and preparing the camp in 2006, RFKC is in need of donations, in the form of cash or gift certificates, or specific items, which are needed for actual camp operation. Foundations
Royal Family Kids’ Camp of St. Paul, MN is looking for partners in our endeavor to serve the abused and neglected kids of our metro counties. We welcome gifts of any size but are looking specifically for contributions in the $2000 to $4000 range. One other major foundation has made a gift of $2300.  Money raised in excess of the current budget will be used to finance the camp in the following year. We were so thrilled with the results from the 2005 RFKC in Minnesota. Securing the necessary funding for 2006 will allow us to focus on programs ahead of time to meet this need in an enhanced manner. Supplies Needed for Camp
This winter we will be making an inventory of our remaining and needed supplies for 2006. When a list of needed items is available, it will be posted on this page. We can always use gently worn or new clothes for children ages 7-11, especially jeans (for horseback riding) and swim suits or trunks.
