Welcome!  Women's Ministries at Summit Church has always had a two-fold purpose...
missions and building community.  The two really go hand in hand.  It is through a strong community
that we are able to effectively minister. 

The needs of women have changed in so many ways in recent years and yet have really stayed the same.
Women have always needed community, but in our global society, how we develop that community
is changing.  In years past, women chatted over coffee in the morning at the kitchen table. 
Now we meet at Panera Bread on a weeknight.  We used to catch up on the latest news with a phone call,
but now an email is even more common. 

As a ministry, our recognition of those kinds of changes needs to happen so that we can effectively
reach out to, and effectively meet the needs of all the different women who are a part of our fellowship   
- so that they can in turn reach out through missions.

Ladies’ Spring Tea

You are cordially invited to a shower for “Women’s Advocates,” a women’s shelter on Grand Ave in St. Paul

Our shower will be held at:
Joanna VonBergen’s Garden in Maplewood

When: Saturday; June 28, 2008 @ 10:00 AM

Bring a NEW wrapped item from the list below which will be donated to the shelter:

• Large white pillow cases

• Women’s underwear

• Summer & spring clothing (women’s and children)

• Diapers and Pull-ups

• Baby Wipes

• Baby items (bottles/powder/lotion/oil/desitin)

• Hair binders

• Chapstick

• Colored towels, wash cloths and hand towels

• White bath and hand towels
